The first Alila City Resort in Greater China opened in August amongst the lush sycamore trees in Jing’an, Shanghai. Alila Spa is a warm and natural environment based on a palette of soft colors and a blend of natural materials. A selection of essential oils from the world are used to gently permeate the air through the aromatherapy machine to relieve stress and revitalize the body and mind. Alila’s signature aromatherapy treatments begin with an aromatic herbal scenting ritual, using essential oils that are beneficial to the respiratory system and combining the Swedish and LomiLomi techniques. The entire Spa process is accompanied by the gentle music of nature, together creating a relaxing and comfortable healing space.
