Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s second hotel in Beijing, Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, is located in the heart of a traditional Hutong neighbourhood inside the Beijing Central Axis. There are 42 courtyard houses, and each in their own independent residence with a courtyard and spacious rooms for guests’ comfort. For design, the hotel is surrounded by greenery, retains the traditional pattern of the courtyard, conveys the tranquil atmosphere of a secluded retreat and fully highlights the Oriental aesthetics. The dining experience is the core of the hotel, covering four different types of dining venues. TIAO is a contemporary cocktail bar that resonates with Hutong culture; Maple Lounge specializes in afternoon tea and finest teas; Yan Garden by Chef Fei, a Cantonese restaurant, uses the finest seasonal ingredients; and VICINI, an Italian restaurant, serves authentic Italian dishes. Other facilities include The Spa and two unique event spaces.
