YSL Rouge Sur Mesure is a smart at-home device that allows consumers to create their own versions of the iconic YSL’s Velvet Cream Matte Finish lipstick. Once you attach the magnetic compact to the machine’s top, insert your color cartridge set and push the power button, the device will dispense a single serving of your custom lip color into the YSL compact. Within the accompanying app, there are three creation modes. The first is the Shade Wheel, which presents you with a color wheel to select the exact shade you want to create. The second is Shade Match, which uses an uploaded photo and creates a lipstick color that is close to it. Then there’s Shade Stylist, which uses a special algorithm that recommend coordinating lip shades for your outfit of the day.
