Designed by Gensler, the new 314-room Wenzhou Marriot Hotel is located in the Binjiang CBD area, overlooking the magnificent Ou River. Inspired by Wenzhou’s natural beauty and the Ou River, designers at Gensler infused the concept of “flowing water” into the hotel’s interior design. Featuring a chandelier with a shape akin to a fishing boat drifting along the Ou River, the hotel lobby instantly connects visitors to the city’s cultural heritage. The guestrooms are thoughtfully designed to offer a perfect balance of modern utilitarian look with inspiration from residential interiors. The patterns of the backdrop wall are inspired by the panoramic view of the urban landscape across the Ou River. GOJI KITCHEN & BAR is an all-day dining restaurant with open kitchens and live cooking stations. While Man Ho and Zhen, the brand’s signature Chinese restaurant, are infused into the brand’s color scheme, material selection, artwork installation.
